Angie Brinlee

Biography

From family and ministry to business and community service, Angie has a life history of serving faithfully and leading without looking back. She will bring that same faithfulness and intensity to representing the people in House District 15. She and her husband John have been blessed to raise our children and grandchildren right here in Oklahoma. When they became Christ-followers seventeen years ago, they hit the ground running. They ministered to youth and served as medical missionaries in Haiti. They worked with an outreach church in McAlester, and then in 2015, they started a church called “At The Cross” in their hometown of Porum.

From family to youth to lost souls at home and abroad, they have sought to serve, and we never looked back. She has served the community as an insurance agent with Farm Bureau since 1993, and they have owned Brinlee’s Boat and Mini Storage since 1999. In addition, she has been serving on the Porum School Board for eight years, and she also serves on the board for the Murrow Indian Home in Muskogee. ​
