Gabriela Dodd is a senior at the University of Oklahoma majoring in International and Area Studies on an accelerated BA/MA track. At OU, Gabriela serves as a senator in the Graduate Student Senate, representing departmental and International students interests and needs.

Before working with CAIR Oklahoma, Gabriela served as a fellow with the Build Oklahoma program of The Oklahoma Alliances. As a fellow, Gabriela engaged with elected officials in dialogue surrounding current issues facing the state. They utilized phone-banking in two special elections to increase voter turnout and support greater civic engagement in Oklahoma amongst all voters.

Gabriela is excited to serve the Oklahoma Muslim community by working with CAIR Oklahoma. They are ready to use their knowledge of state policy and human rights law in order to continue supporting CAIR’s mission to ensure that all Oklahoma Muslims have access to the same civil liberties and resources that others do.
