Dr. Soha Elfeel has been a resident of Stillwater, Oklahoma, since 2001. She earned her undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature and holds a graduate certificate in translation. She began her professional career as an Arabic-English translator and interpreter. After relocating to Oklahoma, she pursued a graduate degree in education, earning a doctorate in Professional Education Studies from Oklahoma State University in 2014. Her dissertation explored the sociocultural and affective dimensions of adult newcomers’ transition and adjustment into their host society. Her expertise lies in teaching English as a Second Language and Arabic as a Foreign Language.
