Warren graduated in 1989 from a rural Texas school Valedictorian and Captain of football team. Mother taught math and Dad was high school principal. Both parents retired teachers with more than 35 years. Both also were full-time ranchers – on the ranch my grandfather established after WWII – preserving a way of life that has been in my family for at least five generations.
Joined Army in 1989 when I reported to the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. Selected by my teammates to be the Captain of the Army Powerlifting Team. Team was National Champions in 1993, and I personally finished 3rd in the 242 pound class. Graduated in 1993 and reported to flight school at Fort Rucker, AL. Earned wings in 1994 and flew AH-1 Cobras at Fort Bliss and Fort Carson. Flew scout helicopters in Bosnia and at Fort Polk, LA. Served in a variety of leadership positions including platoon leader, company commander, and various staff and liaison positions.
In 2001 I was selected by the Army to serve as the Army exchange pilot to the Marine Corps. I graduated the Instructor pilot course at Fort Rucker and reported for duty at Camp Pendelton. From 2001 to 2005 I flew AH-1W Cobras(twin engine) operationally with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 367. We deployed to Japan, Thailand, the Philippine Islands, and ultimately to Iraq.
In the spring of 2005 I resigned my commission as an Army Major and returned home to the ranch I grew up in on South Texas. In the summer of 2006 I began my time as a contractor, flying helicopters in Iraq and Afghanistan until my last flight in the spring of 2012.
I returned home to Oklahoma, to be with my wife, Sherrie, who I married in 2010. We established a ranch and have four children ranging in age from 26 to 4, plus two grandchildren.
I am a Christian and an American by God’s grace. I am grateful beyond words for the opportunity I had in uniform to serve with so many great Soldiers and Marines and will always consider it a privilege to be a part of that team. God Bless America.
The duty of government is defined in our Declaration as the protection of life, liberty, and to a lesser extent - property. Our American system of jurisprudence follows the idea that it is better for ten guilty to go free than it is for one innocent to suffer. Our Constitution says that no person shall be deprived of LIFE, liberty, or property without due process. Yet this is exactly what abortion does - where is due process for the baby? Every week, here in Oklahoma, we allow the legal murder of some 90 innocent little baby boys and girls. Abortion is an affront to everything that is good and just about America. It is a mistake, a slap in the face of God, and we must stop and repent. Abortion is evil. Abortion is unAmerican.
America is founded on traditional Judeo-Christian values. These values are vital to any truly free society. Freedom of religion and freedom of speech go hand in hand. From the beginning America has been about our unalienable right to live our lives according to the dictates of our faith and to share that faith publicly. This is the genesis of America and what makes her the greatest Nation the world will ever know.
The first ten and the 13’th, 14’th, and 15’th amendments to our Constitution address rights, not privileges. Rights come from our Creator, not government. They are immutable and cannot be repealed. Our Bill of Rights and amendments 13-15 may be added to, but not taken away. These rights are granted by God, protected by blood, and guaranteed by our Constitution, and SHOULD be protected by government. So-called “gun control” is more accurately and honestly described as “liberty control” or “people control.” I will never support any law that infringes on any human right. No red flag laws, no “assault weapons” bans, no magazine capacity or ammunition restrictions. EVER. Don’t touch my guns.
The family is the first human institution created by God. Marriage is a lifetime covenant between one man, one woman, and God. “Therefore, shall a man leave his father and his mother , and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Genesis 2:24. There are only two sexes - male and female. God made each of us how He made us for His reasons. "Medical" hormones and surgery will never take the place of God. The family has been under attack for many years and we see the results in our current cultural decay. We must promote and encourage the best design God's design for marriage and family
