Biography
As your State Representative I will always make certain that the people of House District 55 are well represented at the State Capitol. I believe I understand the issues that concern the people in my district and I know that I hold the same conservative values as the vast majority of the people in our area. I know the value of hard work and the importance of standing for Godly values and honest leadership in government.

Todd Russ was first elected to the legislature in 2010. Since that time, Todd has proven to be an effective leader in the Republican-led State House of Representatives.
He is chairman of the House Banking and Financial Services Committee. He also serves on several other key committees: Appropriations and Budget, Insurance, Administrative Rules, and the Joint Committee on Appropriations and Budget.
Todd graduated from Sentinel High School in 1979 where he was active in Future Farmers of America receiving the State Farmer degree his senior year. Todd worked as a welder to help fund his college education. He then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, obtaining a degree in Finance.
Todd was founder of the Burns Flat-Dill City Educational Foundation and a member of Leadership Oklahoma.
Todd is happily married for 33 years to his wife, Khristy, a 20-year veteran public school teacher. They have three grown children, Ryan and his wife Madison, Lacey and Lauren. Todd and Khristy are members of New Beginnings Assembly of God in Cordell.

Making Government Work For The People: As a State Representative, Todd believes it is his role to look out for the interests of hard-working folks who are paying taxes to fund a government that works for them, not against them. Todd is committed to fighting for Western Oklahoma’s full share of funding to meet the needs of education, roads and bridges, health care and other necessary services.
Representing All The People: Todd is a conservative leader whose demonstrated integrity, common sense, courage, and vision guides him to represent Western Oklahoma at the State Capitol.
