Nicole Maldonado

Biography

Nicole Maldonado is running for House District 88. Regarding women’s rights, she supports increasing economic and labor equity, defending and expanding reproductive justice, and ending all forms of oppression against women. As a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ Community, Maldonado is working to promote and create safe spaces in HD88 and across Oklahoma for everyone to feel welcome. She supports ending discrimination in healthcare and promoting gender neutral policy. Additionally, she supports keeping public dollars in public schools and a pay raise for teachers. Maldonado also wants to expand resources for mental health and grant greater funding for mental health programs. She supports addressing the homelessness crisis and prioritizes policies that protect tenants’ rights. Regarding immigration, she wants to empower immigrants and refugees with access to critical resources and information
