Biography

This candidate does not have a Republican opponent and will therefore serve as the next Representative for this district.

On June 28, 2016, Monroe was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives. A graduate of the University of Tulsa and the University of Oklahoma, Monroe has a deep passion of education. Currently he serves the citizens of Tulsa County as a member of the Tulsa Technology Center Board of Education. Monroe’s work in education, economic development and public safety started soon after graduating from the University of Tulsa when he joined the mayoral administration of former Tulsa mayor Kathy Taylor. In addition to his elected position at Tulsa Tech, Monroe serves as Chief Operating Officer at ImpactTulsa where he works everyday with educators to ensure all children in our community are guaranteed a high-quality education.
