Biography

I’ve been an Oklahoman all my life. As a member of this community I’ve been a devoted member of the Tulsa Democratic Party, including three years as party chairman. I know the importance of empowering individuals and communities to have the ability to spark change in their lives or state. Together, I believe I can utilize my experience with the energy of our workforce, education system, and communities to improve the quality of the great state we call home.

My message has always been service. As a public school teacher and former public prosecutor for the City of Tulsa, I understand the impact of having a strong advocate in your corner. As your United States Senator, I would advocate for all us. Even in disagreement, there is no room for hostility or attacks on democracy as we have seen in the last few years. I look forward to connection our communities through compassionate, understanding, dialogue.

To put it plainly, Oklahoma has not been represented in the United States Senate with the same values that we practice daily in our great state. Our current Senator has betrayed the trust of his constituents and has not represented each Oklahoman fairly. As your Senator, I will proudly take the oath to uphold the Constitution and defend this country from enemies, foreign and domestic.

This campaign is going to take all of us contributing our time, effort, and energies into our goal of winning back this Senate seat for the people of Oklahoma. I know that with your help we can improve the representation and lives of everyone who calls Oklahoma home.
