Cobi grew up in Northwest Oklahoma City and has been active in the community for many years. He graduated from Edmond Santa Fe High School where he played baseball and was a part of the Young Republicans club. After graduating, Cobi accepted an athletic scholarship to play baseball at Southern Nazarene University. At SNU, Cobi learned what it means to be a Christlike disciple, and he has applied that to serving those in his community. Cobi graduated from SNU, and he has remained a part of the community, living only a few minutes from the campus. Cobi graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, and he has applied the knowledge he learned since leaving SNU. Cobi helps operate a small business that trains and sells barrel racing horses. By doing this Cobi understands what it means to implement sound business practices and fiscal responsibility. He will push to instill those same principles back into the Capitol. Cobi will use the same faith-base principles he used at SNU to guide his decisions at the Capitol. Cobi attends Bethany First Church of the Nazarene, where he has been a part of small groups and community service projects.
Cobi supports limited government. He will fight against tax increases on hard working Oklahomans, and he will fight against further growing government.
Cobi supports reforming our education system, so that we can ensure our tax dollars are used efficiently. A strong and reformed education system is key to building our economy and attracting jobs to our state.
Cobi supports pro-business, pro-growth, pro-economic development policies. Cobi will fight against unreasonable regulations and taxes that hamper economic growth in our state.
