Chris Sneed

Biography

Candidate Sneed does not have a Democratic opponent and will therefore serve as the next Representative for this district.

I’m a life long resident of Oklahoma. I was born and raised in Tahlequah. In 2012, I married my wife, Joie, and together we live in Fort Gibson with our two Chihuahuas, BB and Bella. I was blessed with a “ready-made” family, as Joie had three children from a previous marriage. Although all of our children are grown and out of our home, I couldn’t love them more if they were my own. We have one grandson and another grandchild on the way!

​Growing up in Tahlequah, I spent many hours helping my dad and step-dad on their small ranches raising cattle and horses. I also helped my mom keep up with the house as she worked full-time while going to college to become a nurse, all while raising my siblings and I. These years taught me the value of education and hard work.

I played many sports growing up, and was instilled with grit and perseverance. After graduating from Hulbert High School, I attended Murray State College and I played baseball there. After an injury, I came back to Tahlequah and attended Northeastern State University.

I started my current business CSI: Chris Sneed Insurance in 2011. I am an independent agent who specializes in Medicare products, life insurance and annuities. I enjoy helping my clients during their transition into retirement.

I feel as though I have been serving and helping others my entire life, and I am looking forward continuing to serve you as your State House Representative.
