Biography

Currently, he serves the citizens of Oklahoma County as a supervisor with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office and has been a part of the continuing effort to improve the conditions at the Oklahoma County Detention Center. He is a staunch advocate for improving the quality of mental health and medical care for incarcerated citizens housed at the county jail, and he has actively worked with the University of Oklahoma, and other correctional health care professionals, to this end. He believes that all citizens are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty, and therefore, should receive proper care and housing while in jail awaiting the adjudication of their cases before the courts.

Mr DeCloud’s political views are closely aligned with those expressed by Tucker Carlson, host of Tucker Carlson Tonight and author of Ship of Fools: How a Selfish Ruling Class is Bringing America to the Brink of Revolution.

As a servant of the public trust, Mr DeCloud knows that law and order are necessary for maintaining safe communities, and he will actively support legislation in this regard.

As a resident of Oklahoma’s ninety-sixth state house district, he understands the importance of emergency readiness, whether the threats are from tornadoes, a coronavirus, or terrorism, and will support funding emergency readiness and disaster relief.

As a father of four children, Mr DeCloud is a pro-life, family values advocate and supports community, religious and governmental efforts that enable the American people of Oklahoma to properly provide for their families.
