Andy Fugate is a proud Oklahoman, a father, and a community leader. A graduate of Del City High School, he went on to earn his Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Central Oklahoma. This program takes high-school students from across Oklahoma to the State Capitol to see their government in action.

Andy believes we all share a responsibility to build a better Oklahoma. He is an active member of the Del City Rotary Club and Sunny Lane United Methodist Church, where he is the chairman of the church’s Administrative Council. An avid musician, Andy serves on the Oklahoma City Jazz Orchestra Board of Directors. He also plays an active role with local nonprofits. For several years, Andy served on the United Way budget subcommittee. He currently serves as President of the Mid-Del Public Schools Foundation. There, he works to secure more resources for classrooms across the district. Andy is also a member of the Del City Chamber of Commerce and was recently elected to serve on the board of the Mid-Del Tinker 100.

Today, Andy lives in Del City with his wife, Jamie. Jamie is a Mid-Del alumna, and a classroom teacher at Parkview Elementary. Together, they have two kids. Their son is a proud graduate of Del City High School and their daughter is a current student.
