(OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, 5/21/2018) – On Tuesday, May 22, Oklahoma chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-OK) will hold its annual Revealing Ramadan event at the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City.

In its second year, this event was designed to allow an opportunity for Oklahomans of other faith backgrounds to learn more about the Oklahoma Muslim community and the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The program will include a tour of the Islamic Society of Greater Oklahoma City, a special presentation on “A day in the life of a fasting Muslim,” and a panel of diverse Oklahoma Muslim sharing their experiences with Ramadan. Additionally, a sampling of Ramadan inspired halal meals will be served from local, Muslim-owned restaurants.
