CAIR-OK has extended an invitation to this event to members of all faith communities in hopes of fostering positive and proactive dialogue, and building bridges of understanding in an ever-changing world.
“In a state in which we have seen a steep rise in Islamophobia and anti-Muslim rhetoric, we find it imperative to bring in nationally-acclaimed speakers to address topics that will enhance the understanding of Islam in Oklahoma,” said CAIR-OK executive Director Adam Soltani. “Imam Suhaib Webb has proven his ability to apply Islamic theology to the American context and present an understanding of Islam in America based on scholarship and community involvement.”
