My name is Zara Raja, and I’m 22 years old. I was born in Oklahoma City on April 12, 2000. My parents originated from Pakistan, and I have also visited it a few times. In May 2019, I graduated with an associate degree in Political science and pre-law from Oklahoma City community college. I am a senior attending the University of Central Oklahoma, majoring in Political science. As a first-generation college student, I am graduating with a bachelor’s degree in May 2023.
During the summer of 2021, I completed a 90-hour certification in an introductory real estate course from Burroughs school of real estate. In Spring 2022, I interned for the real estate and leasing services at the Oklahoma management and enterprise services. In the summer of 2022, I worked as an undergraduate intern at Farzaneh and Patel Law firm. As a college student surrounded by the legal environment, this experience strengthened my professional skills in the legal sector. After graduation, I plan on enrolling for a Juris doctorate in immigration and real estate law at Oklahoma City University School of Law.
Therefore, I value perseverance, commitment, and dedication. As a policy and advocacy intern, I am excited to join the Cair-OK team.
