Tracy Stewart is a CAIR-OK legal intern for the Spring of 2020. She is a second-year law student at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, interested in practicing human rights law. She is interested in a career working with immigrants and refugees, helping them to build new lives in the community of their choosing. She worked previously as a high school teacher in a low-income district in Dallas, Texas, giving her a new appreciation for the difficulties facing minority students and their families. She is excited to work with CAIR to promote greater education and inclusivity of all communities and faiths in the OKC area. She hopes to gain a new perspective on the different communities living and working together in Oklahoma and to promote tolerance and compassion throughout the state.
