Suleiman Shehu is from Abuja in Nigeria. Shehu graduated from Nigerian Turkish high school in Abuja in 2015. After graduating, he applied to college in United States and got admitted to Cornell College in Iowa. He is currently majoring in International Relations and Religion but he is also a History minor, his focus is on political and economic development in Africa. Shehu will be graduating in 2019 and his goal has always been to study Law, because he wants to help the downtrodden members of the society and wants to be an advocate of transparency in courts in Nigeria. He was an intern at the Code of Conduct of Tribunal in Nigeria in 2017, and on campus at Cornell, he is a member of the Black Awareness Student Organization. Shehu also plays soccer and is a member of the men’s soccer team at Cornell College.
