Sarah Kayali is an undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma College of International Studies. She graduated from Mercy School in 2017 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Area Studies and minors in Economics and Middle Eastern Studies. After finishing her undergraduate degree, she hopes to continue on to law school. Sarah is fluent and literate in multiple dialects of Arabic and tutors for the University of Oklahoma Athletics Language Lab. She is particularly interested in the manner in which political and social systems work together to govern individuals’ lives as well as the role people play in determining and changing such institutions. Sarah is devoted to working with and for the community to work toward a more engaged and equal future. She is hoping to contribute to developing an even stronger community during her time with CAIR Oklahoma.
