I’m originally from Colombia and moved to Norman, Oklahoma, when I was eleven years old. I majored in International Area Studies and Finance at the University of Oklahoma. Since, I have worked for Verizon’s finance department, and Boeing’s supply chain team. My education, my corporate experience, and my first year of Law School have enforced a belief that I’ve always known to be true: there’s strength in diversity. I’m excited to work with CAIR OK to advocate and protect that belief.
CAIR Oklahoma is pleased to announce the second year of the Omar Al-Farooq Legal Fellowship program, which brings top students and graduates from law schools across the state to work at the Civil Rights Department for a summer term.
