Assem Neama is a Women’s rights researcher and the women’s forum unit head for the European North African Center for Research – EUNACR. In his role, Assem Provides consultancies in the field of women’s rights and equality to reduce the gap between women and men in North Africa and the Mena region and writes policy papers in the field of women’s international conventions, and the field of personal status law with comparison to the Islamic Shariaa “Legislation.” Assem has experience in Human rights advocacy campaigns development, Governance and local administration, building and sustaining social networks, dialogue sessions facilitating, debating, and using critical thinking methodologies to refute and confront the violence-inciting sayings. Assem has worked with UN agencies like UN Women and UNDESA and is from Egypt.
