Adam Khan is currently a second-year undergraduate student at the University of Oklahoma (OU) where he studies Psychology and Constitutional Studies. At the University of Oklahoma, Adam is a Global Engagement Fellow, International Student Peer Mentor, representative in student congress, delegate for the Oklahoma Intercollegiate Legislature, and the recipient of both the President’s Award for Outstanding Freshman and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor’s Society Academic Excellence Award. He is also the founder of the Muslims of Oklahoma blog which aims to amplify the voice of the Muslim community here in Oklahoma by giving them a platform to share their stories. Along with assisting local Muslims in sharing their experiences with their neighbors, Adam is very passionate about helping others become more civically engaged as well as informed about how they can have a voice in the government that represents them. After a busy first year at OU, he is excited to gain invaluable experience and make a concrete impact in his community by working with CAIR Oklahoma.
