Biography

Ryan and his wife Riley have been married for nine years, and they have two children, Rebecca, age 7, and Reece, age 1. Ryan and Riley both grew up in Durant, and have lived in Bryan County a majority of their lives, both of them having attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University. They are proud to live on a small property outside of Calera. Professionally, Ryan is a pilot at a major airline based in Dallas, Texas, flying the Boeing 737.

In the 16 years that Ryan has worked for the airlines, Ryan has had the opportunity to travel all around the county. His job has allowed me the opportunity to see many different way of doing things: some more successful than how we do it here, and some far less. Ryan is proud of our way of life here in Southern Oklahoma and possess the same conservative values as many of you. His family is the most important aspect of his life, and he supports our Second Amendment, unequivocally.

We really have something special here and Ryan intends to keep it that way. However, there are some areas that need improvement and that is why Ryan is running for State Representative. His son, Reese, has Down syndrome, while my daughter, Rebecca, has convergence insufficiency, which has affected her ability to learn to read. Ryan, like all parents, wants the best possible lives for his children. Our education system, as a whole in Oklahoma, is among the worst-rated in the country. Ryan is outraged and tired of watching other states outperform us. Ryan is not one who is used to losing and Ryan will not accept defeat any longer! Rather than accepting things as they are and putting their children into a private school, Ryan and his wife I prefer to help the entire community. The future of our State, of our home, of our principles, lies in the hands of our children. We must not fail them.
