Matt Echols

Biography

Matt Echols is running for House District 90. He’s committed to creating an environment where small businesses can grow and prosper. This means cutting down on overbearing regulations, reducing excessive taxes, and providing the support and resources our local businesses need to succeed. He also opposes defunding local police. Echols believes teachers must be supported, not just with better pay but also ensuring their right to maintain safe and disciplined classrooms. He’ll support transparency in all the state’s financial dealings, to ensure our resources are being used to benefit all Oklahomans, and not just a select few political insiders. Echols will work to control spending and support our state’s oil and gas companies, allowing them to increase supply and bring down gas prices. He will also work to stop domestic violence and child abuse in Oklahoma. He holds special legal certification in the area of child abuse and neglect. This training will help him effectively fight to protect victims and make sure abusers stay behind bars. He is also pro-life and pro-Second Amendment.
