John George is a career law enforcement police officer and long-time president of the Oklahoma City Fraternal Order of Police. John has served with the Oklahoma City Police Department since 1991, the majority of his career as a detective where he investigated and solved sex crimes and homicides. He also has been a patrol officer, worked several years in narcotics, and was assigned to the Drug Enforcement Agency Task Force and the U.S. Marshals. His wife, Audrea, is also an Oklahoma City police officer. The couple have two daughters in college. Since 2012, John has been elected again and again by his peers to serve as Oklahoma City FOP president. He is the Oklahoma FOP National Trustee, representing more than 6,000 police officers across Oklahoma on the National FOP Board of Trustees.
