Biography

This candidate does not have a Democratic opponent and will therefore serve as the next Representative for this district.

State Representative David Smith, first elected in 2018, has had a remarkable first term in office, serving on key committees and impacting legislation to improve lives and opportunities in rural Oklahoma. Representative Smith currently serves as Vice Chair of the Wildlife Committee – a key committee crucial to our region, and sits on the Administrative Rules, Agriculture and Rural Development, and Appropriations and Budget Committee for General Government.

State Representative David Smith proudly represents constituents living in Coal, Hughes, McIntosh, and Pittsburg counties – bringing a much needed rural perspective to key legislative decisions. With your support and vote in the primary on June 30, and again in the general election of November 3, 2020, he will continue to work hard to make sure our region is represented honorably and with positive results for our community!
